ASSOCIATION

of the Consular Corps in the Principality of Liechtenstein

The association is a pool of professional and honorary consuls accredited in the Principality of Liechtenstein without any political objectives whatsoever. President of the Executive Board is Urban B. Eberle, vice-president is Markus Keel and the secretary general and treasurer is Dorist Jäggi-Lind.

 

The association pursues the following purposes:

 

• Pool of professional and honorary consuls accredited in the Principality of Liechtenstein without any political objectives whatsoever
• Protecting the honour and reputation of the consular mission led by the honorary officials
• Developing and fostering of contacts amongst the consulates; exchange of experience also on a social level
• Arranging and conducting lectures, conferences and seminars with special emphasis on consular activity but also on world politics
• Respect, observance and supervision of the rules of the Vienna Convention of 24.04.1953 with respect to the consular function and honour
• Promotion and preferential treatment of pertinent initiatives of a social, cultural and humanitarian nature that serve to benefit the successful cooperation between the consuls and enhance their reputation
• Maintaining contact to the authorities in the Principality of Liechtenstein and to the Prince Regnant
• Coordination and exchange of experience with like and similar institutions domestic and foreign
